sadly report the recent death on Monday July 12th of one of our DA
members of a few years ago, Dorothy Copeland
Dorothy and her
dear late husband Frank were very active Notts DA members and camped for a good number of
years with Notts until some years ago. Dorothy had recently been ill and
had spent some
time in a nursing home. Frank was a well respected Minutes taker for the
Notts DA Committee for a good few years. There are many people who will
remember Dorothy
very well
and she will be sadly missed.
On behalf of the Committee and the members of Notts DA,
I send our greatest
respects and deepest sympathy to her family and friends.
Dorothy's
funeral was on Wednesday 21st July at Mansfield Crematorium, so it is
with the greatest
sorrow that this sad news reaches you after her funeral as I'm sure many
of you would have paid your own tributes, but due to some unfortunate
circumstances the DA were not able to publish the sad news until today
26th July.
