Wells Carnival Week Sat 28th July - Sun 5th August

Wells-next-the-Sea is one of the most attractive towns on the North Norfolk Coast.
From the long sweeping beach bordered by pine woodland, also a lovely harbour with small fishing boats. There's children and adults alike all fishing for crabs, there's the shops on Staithe Street with not a chain store in sight and the tree-lined park with its fine Georgian houses, many quiet pubs and restaurants - Wells is an unspoiled seaside destination, waiting to be discovered.

Brixham is the smallest of the three towns that make up the holiday region of Torbay. It has over 22 miles
of coastline to explore. Entertainments close by include Churston go carts, Broadsands beach,
Goodrington theme park with Quay West water rides, Woodlands park and Cayman short hole golf to
name but a few. Dartmouth and England's oldest town Totnes are a short bus or car ride away and both
Paignton & Torquay are within easy commuting distance. Brixham is famous for its fresh fish and the
town is host to a number of fish restaurants and eateries.

It has a number of beaches including Breakwater Beach located near the harbour, this is a pebbly beach,
ideal shallow paddling for the kids, going out to deeper water for scuba diving. A beachside restaurant,
which serves A La Carte seafood amongst other dishes (open evenings too, great views), and a beach
cafe for takeaway snacks, etc. This is a popular beach for diving activities. There is a decent sized car
 park right by the beach.

There is a lovely cove at Mansands beach, which is gained from Higher Brixham you will have to leave
your car at the top of the cliffs and walk down to the beach and there is a picturesque cove at
Scababbacombe beach - this is part nudist (the far end). Again, you need to leave the car at the top of the
cliffs and walk. There are dozens of other beaches, small and large. Brixham has much to offer tourists,
 particularly caravanners.
