Notts. D.A. are organising a short sponsored walk on behalf of Breast Cancer Campaign and
Macmillan Cancer Support

This will be a “Moonwalk Notts.D.A Style” with all walkers hopefully wearing a decorated bra
(including the men!). Over a T shirt is perfectly acceptable.

Prizes will be awarded for the best dressed Lady, Man & Child and also the best Group.

This is planned to take place from the campsite on Saturday July 11^th within Thoresby Park.

The length of the walk is approximately 5 miles and is really easy walking.

Children are very welcome as are buggies etc, bearing in mind there is one stile and two kissing gates.
We are making the children’s walk a Treasure Hunt so a pen will be required.

We will be starting from the campsite around 3.00pm and the walk should take no more than two hours.

On our return the D.A. will be organising refreshments for the hungry travellers.

These two charities are known to all of us and within the D.A. have given a great deal of support to those who have been unfortunate to have to deal with cancer first hand.

Great strides have been made in the early diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer in recent years whilst Macmillan cancer support not only help with nursing care but provide very useful and easily understood  information for cancer sufferers.

OK then, this is your chance to help the one in nine people who are directly affected with breast cancer.

Get out your best bra, (gentlemen may borrow one) and join us for what will surely be a memorable occasion
