Last year Notts DA reintroduced winter socials, the event was solely and purely arranged to bring members (old and new) together. As you can see from the below extract (email received from one of our long standing members / Vice President ), we had a truly fabulous afternoon of fun, laughter and reminiscing, there was even a few happy tears.

Thank you to all the committee for all your enthusiasm in instigating this event. Maureen and I have been Notts DA members for 57years and felt it a privilege to be part of this amazing reunion. The occasion brought together so many friendships and memories of the 1970/80’s which made Notts DA the best in this great Club of ours. Many thanks once again. Ernest Dakin Vice President. 

So on the back of this and due to the roaring success, we held the We’ll Meet Again’ Social again this year (16th November at 12.00-4.00pm / Forest Town Arena). We gave a warm welcome to new and longstanding C&CC members, along with their families and friends, for a delightful afternoon of reconnection, camaraderie and celebration. A perfect way to share cherished memories and forge new ones, all while enjoying each other's company and being entertained by the fabulous Vintage Singer 'Lady Lindy'. 

We also presented the Notts DA Thankyou Award to Lynn & Roy Tomlison for their 'Appreciation of Untiring Service, Dedication and Loyalty to Notts DA' , they were presented with the 'Ian Webster' Trophy, a commemorative crystal vase and bouquet of flowers.

Congratulations Roy and Lynn, thank you for your contributions to the DA and your continued support!
